I’ve been dreaming for years now. All cards on the table. One love. One passion. One dream. It’s all I ever wanted, all I need. It’s the one thing that no one can ever take away from me. A God given talent. When my talents were tested it wasn’t enough. She said, “You’re almost there…” It cut deeper than knife, worse than any broken heart. Besides death, the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. To want something so bad and just not get it. Trying to accept that it’s not right for me right now is the hardest thing I’ll have to do. I’m trying to fall back asleep. I’m trying to get back to dreaming. I’m wide awake right now, but I’ll be sleeping soon. I’ll be dreaming soon.
